Job Description:
The Cytotechnologist is responsible for performing cytology testing procedures and providing clinical result interpretation in compliance with established laboratory procedures and quality standards. This role involves the preparation and examination of microscopic slides of cell samples, identifying abnormalities, and providing detailed interpretations for all patient samples, including fine-needle aspirates. The cytotechnologist also issues normal cytology reports and collaborates with pathologists to interpret abnormal cytology findings.
