Nucleus Healthcare is partnering with one of our trusted skilled nursing care partners to hire a Registered Nurse with a sign-on bonus up to $6k for full-time and $3,000 for part-time nursing positions to join a respected long-term care, short-term rehabilitation stay health system in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania.

Job: Registered Nurse with long-term care, short-stay experience
Shift Information: 7am - 7pm, Day Shift (Night Shifts are available)
Location: Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Working in skilled nursing, you will direct and take responsibility for the total care of residents on a team while working under the direction of a supervisor and/or nurse manager. You will be responsible for implementing interventions that are designed to achieve the goals and objectives of the resident plan of care. Your other RN duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Report promptly for duty, provide shift reports, and participate in safety rallies.
  • Supervise nursing units, assign tasks to staff, and provide backup support as needed.
  • Monitor staff professionalism and review staff activity to ensure completion of scheduled tasks.
  • Assist with resolving staffing needs and emergency issues.
  • Collect data for nursing assessments and care plans, revising care plans as needed.
  • Facilitate scheduling and preparation of residents/patients for diagnostic studies.
  • Conduct planned activity/teaching sessions with residents.
  • Respond courteously and respectfully to resident and family requests.
  • Honor resident decisions, informing them of care plans calmly.
  • Review and adhere to compliance policies and safety standards.
  • Maintain infection control standards and handle emergencies.
  • Perform treatments and medication processes per physician orders.
  • Educate residents on medication regimens and side effects.
  • Ensure accurate transcription of physician orders and complete documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
