Salary: Up to $120,000 total compensation per year (including bonus)
- $90,000–$105,000 base salary (not tied to billables), plus;
- A bi-quarterly, billables-based bonus structure amounting to an additional $8,000-$15,000 per year
- Setting: Clinic only
- Clinic Hours: 8:30am-6pm are the hours during which client sessions are scheduled; The CD & BCBAs rotate on an open/close schedule throughout the week
- Caseload: 2-4 clients to be maintained on the CD's caseload
- Location: Antioch (Nashville), TN
About the Role:
The Clinical Director is responsible for leading clinical services delivery at the clinic. Core responsibilities include hiring and training clinical staff, ensuring successful delivery of clinical programs, and bringing quality and satisfaction to the children and families. This position works closely with the center’s Office Administrator to ensure clinical and center operations are streamlined and consistent with the company's model. The right candidate should be comfortable opening and growing a new center. The Clinical Director reports to the Director of Operations.
Essential Job Duties
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of clinical operations in assigned center
- Promotes a therapeutic environment for all clients, ensuring client input is fully considered when developing and carrying out treatment plans.
- Promotes management and oversight to clinical staff, serving as a resource and guide for clinical and professional skills. Advise clinicians on their professional development.
- Assist with difficult cases. Provide ongoing feedback and support to the clinical team to ensure quality services.
- Lead by example with integrity and humility. Seek to serve our children and families.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard clinical staff. Terminate clinical staff when necessary.
- Ensure a robust training program for staff and families, and own related KPIs. Develop creative learning and collaboration opportunities as appropriate.
- Enforce and encourage clinical quality and outcomes, with ownership of related KPIs
- Stay current with best practices and research in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and autism treatment and incorporate this knowledge into services provided.
- Facilitate opening a center in cooperation with the company's leadership team members
- Interface with key outsourced functions for new center opening and ongoing operations, including human resources and compliance
- Work with C-suite leadership to achieve and maintain BHCOE accreditation for assigned center, along with other reputable accrediting organizations
- Work with the Director of Operations to ensure cohesive and streamlined overall operations
- Supervise a caseload of 2-4 clients / Maintains a reduced clinical caseload, involving direct assessment and treatment of clients.
Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- At least three years of experience as a BCBA
- At least one year of experience leading BCBAs as a clinical director at a center-based, early intervention ABA program highly preferred
- Comfortable with the idea of opening a new center. Experience opening a new center preferred.
- Comfortable managing multiple components of a clinical organization, and being evaluated based on associated KPIs
- Excellent at working with people. High integrity, leads by example, proactive about solving problems
- Willing to work as part of cohesive leadership team with complementary responsibilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, comfortable with MS Office
- Experience with CentralReach preferred, including LMS
- Passion to elevate the early intervention ABA offering in the greater Nashville area
