Nucleus Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Director to join our trusted partner in Newnan, GA.

We are partnering with a dedicated therapy group focused on delivering individualized, evidence-based ABA therapy for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Their experienced team of BCBAs and therapists works closely with families to develop comprehensive treatment plans that aim to improve the quality of life for each child. The group emphasizes a collaborative, team-oriented environment where clinicians can thrive both personally and professionally while delivering high-quality care.
 
  • Job Title: Clinical Director
  • Salary: $95,000-$100,000 annual base salary (not tied to billables)
  • Shift Details: Full-Time, Monday-Friday; No weekends or evenings
  • Setting: Primarily in-clinic, but some clients receive community services; Community clients primarily consist of daycare setting and home setting
  • Caseload: Modified caseload required for the Clinical Director
  • Location: Newnan, GA

RESPONSIBILIITES: 
  • Supervises Registered Behavior Technician’s (RBTs), and graduate students, if assigned to their caseload.
  • Maintains a modified caseload.
  • Manages caseload and prepares and submits all required documentation on time. This includes, but is not limited to: assessments, treatment plans/BSPs, insurance updates as required, session notes after every session, at least monthly analysis of the data, updating the treatment plans as needed, participation in calls with insurance companies, etc.
  • Adheres to professional and legal requirements, the principles of behavior analysis and demonstrates sound professional judgment at all times.
  • Collaborates with families, caregivers and all service providers as necessary to ensure continuity of care.
  • Performs direct and indirect assessments to identify the function of client’s behaviors.
  • Develops a treatment plan (including behavior support plan) based on the functions of the behavior and treatment methodologies that are evidence-based.
  • Attends all relevant meetings for clients, including treatment team meetings, IEP/ISP (as allowed/needed) and staffing. Adequately demonstrates their abilities to work effectively as a part of a clinical team.
  • Attends any insurance authorization review calls for any individual on their caseload.
  • Collects data before and during the implementation of the plan so that the plan’s efficacy can be assessed and data-based decisions can be made.
  • Provides direct instruction/ongoing supervision, training and support to clients, staff members and family members during regularly-scheduled visits. This includes visiting each client twice a month in all relevant environments.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of the implemented treatment plan and modifies the plan as necessary.
  • Upon receiving information from Administration, the BCBA will initiate services with new clients in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as requested/assigned.

Additional Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a BCBA (Master’s Degree in ABA or a related field is required).
  • BCBA Certification required, plus state license (if applicable).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Previous medical billing and EMR experience required.
