Nucleus Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse for a 13-week contract-to-hire assignment at a health system in Mount Laurel, NJ.

Shift Schedule:
Thursday - Saturday 9:00 pm - 9:00 am
Tuesday and Friday 9:00 am - 9:00 pm; Saturday 7:00 am - 9:00 pm

Location: Mount Laurel, NJ
 
Job Description: 
  • Assists provider with procedures including positioning patients, keeping a sterile field, and wound cleaning and dressing. 
  • Obtains and documents patient's vital signs as needed and reports abnormal results to provider. 
  • Triages patient telephone encounters and includes provider when necessary. 
  • Cleans, disinfects, sterilizes and checks to make sure all instruments and equipment are in proper working order.

  • Obtains and tests specimens following standard operating procedures and documents results, taking appropriate action with unexpected results. Prepares specimens for transport as necessary.

Additional Qualifications

  • Active LPN License required
  • BCLS Certification required
  • High school diploma / GED required
  • Practice Nursing School required
  • 1 year of outpatient experience preferred
