They are seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) with relevant experience to lead operational strategy and execution, ensuring the highest standards of service quality while fostering growth and collaboration. The COO will play a pivotal role in scaling operations, integrating acquisitions and driving organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Strategic Planning & Execution:
· Lead the execution of strategic operational plans aligned with the company’s vision and strategic goals, managing growth to forecast and financial targets.
· Oversee daily operations across all service locations, ensuring consistent, high-quality ABA services and best practices.
· Oversee all departments, including Human Resources, Clinical Operations, Scheduling, Contracts, Compliance.
· Develop, implement, and communicate operational policies, standards, and security measures to drive efficiency and consistency.
· Collaborate with executive leadership to align operations with company goals, providing expertise on systems and process improvements.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Consult, train, mentor, and manage cross-functional department teams, fostering a culture of accountability and professional development.
- Promote teamwork, continuous improvement, and a positive organizational culture.
- Lead implementation of priorities
Process Improvement & Data Analysis:
- Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational data to inform decisions and drive improvements.
- Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, emerging technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with directors, administrative staff, and external partners to ensure cohesive operations.
- Improve the overall customer experience by implementing strategic solutions.
- Report actuals vs. plans to the CEO
- Conduct and present periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience:
- - Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in an executive leadership role. Strong business acumen and ABA industry experience are highly preferred.
- - Experience with mergers & acquisitions; company integration experience.
- - Managing P&L and budgets while ensuring operational efficiencies. Growing and scaling the business.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, or a related field (required).
- - Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, etc.) preferred.
Business Acumen:
- Strong strategic planning, financial management, and process optimization skills.
- A deep understanding of operational best practices within a healthcare or ABA setting.
Leadership Skills:
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead, inspire, and effectively manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
