Nucleus Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a 6-month contract assignment at a supported living center in Denton, TX.
 
Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Sunday - Saturday 
Pay: $35/hour
Location: Denton, TX  
 
Job Description
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at Denton State Supported Living Center performs advanced vocational nursing work, ensuring the care, treatment, and general welfare of individuals with intellectual disabilities, complex medical needs, mental health, and/or behavioral health issues.
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, educate patients on medications, and ensure complete and accurate documentation
  • Perform computer data entry (training provided)
  • Adhere to facility Standard Operating Procedures, including ICF-IDD Regulations, DSSLC policies, directives, and HHSC standards, rules, and directives

Additional Qualifications

  • Valid LVN license
  • Compliance with HHSC immunization requirements
  • Completion of HHSC-required drug testing and fingerprinting
  • Completion of all facility and HHSC-required training
