We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled master's Level Substance Abuse Clinician to join a dedicated healthcare team and provide comprehensive support to individuals impacted by addiction. This position reports to the Clinical Director and offers a meaningful opportunity to guide clients on their recovery journey.
Job Description:
- Develop personalized action plans addressing mental health and substance use with a whole-person approach
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions weekly
- Participate in weekly clinical supervision (individual and group) and staff meetings
- Collaborate with clients' support systems, integrated teams, and external providers
- Diagnose substance use disorders, mental health issues, and co-occurring conditions
- Apply evidence-based treatments, including CBT, motivational interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or other person-centered approaches
- Utilize knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction methods, dual diagnosis, and milieu therapy in residential settings
- Maintain compliance with confidentiality standards (42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA)
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Director
