We are seeking a Director of Quality & Compliance to join a forward-thinking healthcare organization and lead compliance operations with transformational leadership. This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is pivotal in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards while promoting the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
Job Description:
- Integrate strategic plans into compliance operations and ensure alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values
- Educate employees on compliance topics, disseminate critical information, and provide training on regulatory developments
- Create, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
- Conduct routine internal audits, coordinate external audits, and resolve compliance inquiries
- Lead the organization through CARF, Joint Commission, and state/federal accreditation processes
- Oversee electronic medical records (EMR) and learning management systems to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Report compliance-related matters to the executive team and provide actionable insights for process improvements
- Coordinate and participate in educational programs focused on compliance requirements and best practices
- Serve as an ethical voice and key player in healthcare issues through participation in industry organizations
