Nucleus Healthcare is seeking an ARRT certified CT Technologist to join a devoted patient care organization in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Job Title: CT Technologist
Shift Details: Full-Time Monday - Friday, 3 pm - 11 pm
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 

Job Description: 
The CT Technologist will adhere to the following duties: 
  • Perform complex CT imaging procedures for patients, supporting high patient throughput without compromising quality care 
  • Educate and prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining the process and positioning them properly on the exam table 
  • Operate CT equipment and perform quality control checks to ensure equipment is functioning correctly 
  • Troubleshoot issues as needed and coordinate with maintenance for repair 
  • Monitor patients during procedures, recognizing and responding to adverse reactions or complications 
  • Provide emotional support to patients to ease their concerns 
  • Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret scan results and ensure optimal patient care 
  • Ensure operational flow and maintain high patient throughput 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including those of the Joint Commission and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania statutes

Additional Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Program
  • Radiologic Technologist (R)(CT) certification by ARRT is required
  • CT experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential
