Job Title: Radiologic Tech
Shift Details: M-F 3p-11:30p, every other weekend 3p-11:30p with 1 week of call. 
Location: Cincinatti, OH

Job Description:
 
The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of routine radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable exams in Radiology, nursing units, outpatient areas, and the surgery department.  
  • Perform radiographs and fluoroscopic exams as ordered by physicians 
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by adhering to radiation protection protocols 
  • Demonstrate versatility in handling diagnostic equipment across Radiology and surgical environments 
  • Manage and operate front desk functions, computer systems, and troubleshoot equipment issues, alerting Clinical Engineers or managers as needed 
  • Schedule department-wide exams and coordinate patient transportation using the centralized transport program 
  • Access patient information for exam preparation, scheduling, or cancellation as necessary 
  • Collaborate professionally with other departments and provide support to Radiologic Technologist students 
  • Conduct equipment quality assurance, comply with regulatory standards, and assist with inventory management and departmental audits 
  • Access patient records as required to facilitate accurate and timely medical imaging

Additional Qualifications

  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS certification
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • OR experience with solid knowledge of medical terminology, isolation procedures, and sterile techniques.
  • Proficient in-patient positioning and x-ray equipment operation, including portable and fluoroscopic systems
  • Must obtain Flu Shot in order to start
