Job Title: Infection Preventionist RN
Shift Schedule: Full-Time, 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday
Pay:$37.79 - $43.08 / hour

Job Description:
The Infection Preventionist (RN) will be responsible for supporting the residential treatment programs in West Chester, PA. These programs provide essential clinical treatment, educational instruction, and behavioral support to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and psychiatric challenges
- Ensure compliance with state and federal infection control regulations, including infection monitoring, vaccination administration, and required reporting
- Act as a leader in infection prevention, serving as DPACS’s representative with external agencies such as the Vaccine Program for Children, CDC, and PA Department of Health
- Track and report infection data, monitor antibiotic usage, and coordinate vaccine administration for students and staff
- Uphold Joint Commission infection control standards across programs
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania RN license required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- A valid driver’s license
- Experience in a behavioral healthcare setting required
- Familiarity with infection prevention policies, audits, and guidelines preferred
- Experience with individuals with cognitive and/or behavioral challenges or medically complex conditions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data collection platforms such as Radar and Pro-Filer
- Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
