Nucleus Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative for a 13-week contract assignment at a health system in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Job Title: Patient Service Representative 
Shift Schedule: Mon-Thu 7am-7pm and Fri 7am-5pm (40 hours total)
Location: West Chester, PA

Job Description: 

The Patient Service Representative is responsible for the arrival and/or departure activities of patients in the practice, managing and handling patient calls and inquiries, coordinating patient appointments, updating patient insurance/billing information, and performing point of service activities. 



  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes. 
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, providing accurate and timely information regarding appointments and services. 
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding procedures, billing, and insurance. 
  • Verify patient information, update records, and collect necessary documentation. 
  • Process insurance claims, verify coverage, and resolve any related issues. 
  • Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. 
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming front office environment.

Additional Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma/GED AND 2+ years medical office experience OR 2+ years customer service experience required. Advanced degree (Associate, Bachelor, Master) may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • Associate degree preferred.
