Nucleus Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in medical surgery and telemetry for a 13-week full-time contract position at a health system in Camden, New Jersey

Job Description: 
  • Deliver quality care through a team effort, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. 
  • Assure patient safety by executing appropriate policies and procedures. 
  • Provide support for pain management using both pharmacological and non-pharmacological measures, assisting patients and families in identifying individualized comfort measures. 
  • Ensure handoff communication includes a report on situations most likely to develop and the problems awaiting the patient. 
  • Identify proactively issues related to patient education for medication management and provide discharge planning, including instructions on discharge medications. 
  • Explore multiple aspects of care regimens with case managers and healthcare providers to promote appropriate resolution.

Additional Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of MST experience.
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH.
  • NJ/Compact License Required.
