Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Shift Schedule: 7:00am – 5:30pm; 40 hours weekly with on call weekends, 30-minute response time required.
Location: Trenton, NJ

Job Description:

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will in minimally invasive procedures using imaging technology, prepares equipment, and ensures patient safety.
  • Assist interventional radiologists during procedures by preparing and operating equipment, ensuring accurate visualization of the treated area.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of radiological equipment.
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect both patients and staff.
  • Assist in post-procedural care, including patient transfers and providing post-procedure instructions.
  • Maintain a sterile environment in the interventional suite.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including radiologists, nurses, and other medical professionals.
  • Document and maintain accurate patient records, including procedure reports and imaging data.
  • Ensure the interventional suite is well-stocked, organized, and ready for procedures.
