Respiratory Therapist - Camden

Nucleus Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract assignment at a leading academic health system in Camden, New Jersey.
This health system provides access to primary, specialty, tertiary, and urgent care, all within one complete health system. Our client is a Level I trauma center, and is consistently recognized for its quality, safety, and exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient assessment for respiratory disorders.
- Administer and monitor mechanical ventilation support.
- Provide non-invasive ventilation support.
- Administer therapeutic medical gases (heliox, nitric oxide, oxygen, compressed air, etc.) through various delivery systems.
- Perform chest physiotherapy and aerosol treatments.
- Assist with internal and external patient transport.
- Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and treatment plans.
- Clean and prepare respiratory therapy equipment for safe and effective use.
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment. (May vary depending on the facility)
- Deliver oxygen tanks as required.
- Assist staff with regards to respiratory equipment needs.
- Document patient care comprehensively and accurately in medical records.
- Participate in rounds with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Work effectively as part of a healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Active New Jersey State licensure
- Interventional Pulmonary Experience Required
- COVID Vaccination - Fully vaccinated with 1 booster required
Shift Details:
- 7:00PM - 7:00AM
- 4-10 hour shifts
