Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant 
Shift Schedule: 40 hours a week; 8:30AM-5:00PM
Location: Plainsboro, NJ
 
Job Description: 
 
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments. 
  • Take and record patient histories, vital signs, and other pertinent information. 
  • Prepare patients for examinations, including setting up equipment and ensuring comfort. 
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by physicians. 
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures. 
  • Manage patient records, including scheduling appointments and maintaining confidentiality. 
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, following infection control protocols. 
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and seamless workflow. 
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including billing and insurance processing.

Additional Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from an accredited program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
  • OBGYN experience highly preferred
  • 2-5 years or experience
