Job Title: Radiological Technologist   


Shift Details: Full-Time 38-40 hrs. per week (4, 10s every other weekend)  


Location: Pennsylvania (Chester, Upper Darby, and Philadelphia)   


Job Description:  


  • Efficiently position imaging equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance based on examination specifications  
  • Position patients on the examining table and adjust equipment to obtain optimal views of specific body areas as directed by physicians  
  • Closely monitor patients’ conditions and reactions during procedures, promptly reporting any abnormal signs to the physician  
  • Be able to explain procedures to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the imaging process  
  • Implement radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations, prioritizing the safety of patients and staff  
  • Review developed x-rays, video tapes, or computer-generated information to assess whether images meet diagnostic standards  
  • Determine patients' x-ray needs by accurately interpreting requests or instructions from physicians  
  • Prepare contrast materials, radiopharmaceuticals, or anesthetic drugs under the supervision of a radiologist  

Qualifications:  


  • ARRT certification 
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience  
  • Strong oral and written communication  
  • Knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment and quality assurance protocols for diagnostic images comprehension skills
