Nucleus Healthcare is seeking a dedicated CT Tech for a 13-week contract assignment at a health system in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Job Title: CT Tech 
Shift Schedule: 40 hours a week, Wed/Thurs/Fri 9a-9p, no weekends or holiday rotation required.   
Location: Lancaster, PA 
 
Job Description: 
 
  • Perform CT scans and imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate diagnostic results. 
  • Administer contrast media and monitor patients during imaging procedures. 
  • Maintain and operate CT equipment, injectors, pulse oximeters, and other diagnostic tools. 
  • Follow safety protocols, particularly those related to radiation exposure and infection control (bloodborne pathogens). 
  • Accurately input patient data into HIS/RIS systems and manage image storage using PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems). 
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to interpret and report imaging results. 
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure, providing clear communication and instructions.

Additional Qualifications

  • 2 years CT experience
  • Experience with scanners is preferred, but not required
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent.
  • CT certification (CT registry) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Epic, McKesson, and other imaging software.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
