Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Shift Schedule: 7:30am-5:30pm, 40 hours/week
The role is 40 hours/week. We are open 7 days a week and the candidate would be expected to fit into our current weekend rotation (every 3rd weekend, Sat & Sun, from 830-230). The techs work 5 days per week and get weekday comp days when working the weekend. Weekday schedules are either 8 or 9 hours, between 7:30 am and 6:00pm.

Job Description:
- Assist the pharmacist in accurately preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
- Receive and process prescription requests, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
- Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves, ordering supplies, and checking for expired medications.
- Label and package prescriptions according to state and federal regulations.
- Communicate with patients and healthcare providers regarding prescription refills, drug interactions, and insurance coverage.
- Handle payment transactions and assist in processing insurance claims.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
