Job Description:
- Perform ultrasound imaging procedures using appropriate equipment to capture diagnostic images for patient care.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and following protocols for various types of examinations.
- Conduct ultrasound procedures for patients in the emergency room, surgical settings, inpatient units, and outpatient clinics.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of ultrasound images, working closely with physicians to interpret and assess results.
- Provide compassionate care, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment used.
- Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training.
