Job Title: RN Team Leader
Shift Information: Full Time; Days

Job Description:
As the RN Team Leader, you are a member of the interdisciplinary team working in collaboration with the physician, anesthesiologist, and staff, with a specific focus on neurology within the neuro team. Duties will include overseeing any necessary coordination of the interdisciplinary plan of care and ensuring its consistency with the medical treatment plan. The RN Team Leader will assist with assignments based on acuity and staffing, particularly in neurological cases.
Other duties you would be responsible for include but not limited to:
  • Assessment – an orderly process consisting of the identification, gathering and organizing subjective and objective data pertaining to the patient, family, and or significant other.
  • Planning – an organized plan that identifies actual or potential problems and desired outcomes for the patient, family, and or significant other and interdisciplinary team.
  • Intervention – the specific interventions or orders that are implemented consistent with the plan of care and medical treatment plan.
  • Evaluation – Determining the effectiveness of interventions in achieving the plan of care and whether the desired outcomes were met. This step may lead to reassessment and adjustments to the plan of care and interventions. It also involves documenting necessary actions
The RN Team Leader will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality care for neurological patients, leveraging expertise and leadership to guide the team.

Additional Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Current license as a registered nurse in the state of New Jersey.
  • BLS Required.
  • ACLS Preferred
  • Operating room experience required.
  • 3-5 years of OR/PACU experience required. 2 years of neuro OR experience required
