Nucleus Healthcare is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment at a health system in Trenton, New Jersey.

Job Title: CT Technologist
Shift Schedule: 10am-10:30pm, Thurs, Fri, rotating Sat and Sun, 36 hour weeks OR 830pm-7am, Tues -Fri, 40 hours a week
Pay: $58-$61/Hour
Location: Trenton, New Jersey



Job Description:
  • Perform CT scans on patients as per physician orders, ensuring the highest quality images are obtained.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
  • Utilize advanced imaging technology and equipment to conduct scans effectively.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to aseptic techniques throughout procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations.
  • Document patient history, scan details, and any relevant information in compliance with medical protocols.
  • Stay updated on advancements in CT technology and techniques to enhance patient care.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of imaging equipment and report any malfunctions or issues promptly.

Additional Qualifications

  • 1+ years of CT experience with Siemens 256-slice and x.Cite scanners
  • ARRT (R)(CT), NJDEP License
  • Certification in Radiologic Technology or a related field; additional certification in CT is preferred.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to imaging procedures.
  • Experience with PET scans, nuclear medicine, sonography, X-ray, or other diagnostic imaging modalities is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and safety protocols within a clinical environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
